IF DREAMS COULD COME TRUE
My husband's dream is to be a house maid
To be master of the kitchen and house
To taxi the children, to mend my blouse
To do the shopping, have the table laid.
I must act bread winner, be on the hop
So he would have the T. V. to himself,
Change channels, manage a nap, bask
And do all the roaming in the lap-top
Leisurely fix the linen and flannel
And when I return with my leather file box
I expect hot Horlicks and snacks
It is not really so absurd mister
Every woman dreams of scoring marks
So man can cook , be dogs -body and bark.
