This November we are inviting poets from across the internet to join us for a 30-in-30 on Sunset Beach. Writing a poem a day can be very challenging but with
good company, great comments, and willingness to allow yourself the freedom to write what comes to mind, you'll be surprised at what can happen!
The 'rules' are simple. Each day you will ...
1. Write a poem a day for 30 days. Post your daily poem in a new thread prefaced by a number in order to keep track. It could be something like N-1, N-2, N-3 or something else as along as it keeps count of your poems.
2. Leave a comment in the thread of a minimum of 4 other poems. Comments are positive and general, NOT critiques. If a poet wishes to have his or her poem critiqued, it needs to be posted on The Waters forum.
At the top of this forum, during November, we will gather all previous threads that held prompts and inspiration for poems, many thanks to Toni for managing these prompts!!!! You can use the prompts or you can write what you wish.
If you miss a day, simply start your numbering at one - so your second time around might be II-1 and II-2 etc. If you need to be away from your computer for any time during November, you can pre-post your work, leave a small note, and be sure to catch up on your comments when you get back.
If you find a poem you absolutely adore which has been written by a fellow poet, please post it in the Sea of IBPC in the December Nomination Thread for possible inclusion in November's entry into the IBPC.
And that's it! All poets welcome!
